Bridget Jacobs

Bridget Jacobs – Class of 2008

  • Bridget Jacobs '08 While at Normandy, Bridget ran track & field for four years. She also played basketball as a freshman and sophomore. The track is where Bridget made her mark in Normandy History.  Bridget set a school record in the long jump while winning a state championship in her senior year. Bridget’s jump of 19′ 9 1/2″ earned her a full scholarship to Ohio State University and winning a state title.

    She also finished 5th in the state in the long jump in 2006.  Bridget also holds school records in the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash. She is also a member of two relays that would set school records in the 4×100 and the 4×200. As a member of these relays Bridget was a state qualifier in 2007 and 2008.

    Bridget attended Ohio State University beginning in 2009 where she ran both indoor and outdoor track & field. While at Ohio State, Bridget was selected in 2010 for the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar athlete and Academic All-Big Ten. She was a five time scholar athlete at Ohio State.

    Bridget currently lives in Midland, Michigan and works Dow Chemical Company.
