Erica Ebel advanced to the Ohio State Diving Championship in Canton next week in 1 meter diving. She placed 4th out of 34 divers yesterday evening at Cleveland State University. This is Erica’s second year in a row advancing to the state tournament.
The following members of the Invader Swim & Dive Team advanced to the District Tournament this week at Cleveland State University. The team competed in the Sectional Tournament at the University of Akron on Saturday. The Boys Swim & Dive Team finished in 2nd place and the Girls Swim & Dive Team finished in 3rd. place out of 7 teams at the GLC Champs at Oberlin College on (Saturday, 1-25). The boys team won a total of 7 out of the 11 swim events. First Team All Conference Brandon Stoia
The Invader Swimming & Diving Team will play host to the Parma Redmen tonight at 6 PM. Admission is $5.00 and $7.00.
Unfortunately, we are going to have to cancel swim practice today. Both coaches are out of the building ill today. We will have practice Wednesday through Saturday the rest of the week. There will still be diving practice at Normandy from 5:30-7:30.
